New Yorkers have it good, with so many different restaurants and cuisines to explore. But amid all the awesome, there are a lot of letdowns. Eateries with stuck-up waitstaff, exorbitant prices for mediocre food, dishes that require explanations of how to consume them, and out-of-date rules and regulations that leave the diner wishing he'd never come.
