Dine for a special cause tonight at Bar Basque, where guest chef Aitor Elizegi (of acclaimed Basque country restaurants Gaminiz, Baita Gaminiz, and Bascook) will be cooking a six-course tasting menu paired with wines from Luis CaƱas Winery for $150.

Italian Culinary Academy at ICC

Are you a young chef enamored by Italy? Get inspired by its many cuisines with Cesare Casella (dean of the Italian Culinary Academy and chef-partner of Salumeria Rosi) and others at this industry event. Workshops on subjects such as pizza will take place alongside panel discussions and a master class with superstar Massimiliano Alajmo.

Tap Room at Colicchio & Sons
January 17, 6:30 p.m.

Join brewmaster Garrett Oliver from Brooklyn Brewery for this seven-course tasting menu paired with his reserve beers for $95. The Sorachi will accompany Peconic Bay scallops, the Blast! a butter-poached lobster, and Black Ops a Cervena venison dish.
