Just in time for Chinese New Year (which begins tomorrow), the Luckyrice Festival has announced it will return for a second year, from May 2 to 8.

Luckyrice is actually a marketing company -- or, as it bills itself, "an integrated media and marketing company with a big appetite for Asian-style cuisine and culture." This year, it and an assortment of corporate sponsors are rolling out some particularly luxe events, including a $200 kickoff dinner with Anita Lo at Annisa, a $250 omakase dinner with Morimoto, a $170 "Flavors of Macau" dinner at the James Beard House, and a $500 banquet dinner at Daniel cooked by Daniel Boulud and Susur Lee. Like last year, there will also be a Night Market beneath the Manhattan Bridge in DUMBO.

The full lineup of events, the proceeds of which go to City Harvest, can be found on the Luckyrice website, where tickets will also go on sale tomorrow.
