Where Am I Eating? Yuba

This week's Where Am I Eating? pictured the Grilled Miso Yuba from the newish Japanese restaurant Yuba, located at 105 East 9th Street (212-777-8188). The $8 namesake appetizer takes tofu skins and fries them to a crunch so it's hard to discern any real grilled flavor. But they're nevertheless quite tasty -- think upscale Asian bar snack -- dressed with sweet miso and kinome (Sichuan pepper tree leaves).

WinstonGFX correctly guessed the restaurant. Congratulations! Please email me to claim your cookbook. And for the rest of you, there's always next week.
