It was like a scene from Mission Impossible IV: In the early morning hours, a thief descended by rope into a luxury car dealership on Van Ness Avenue in San Francisco and stole the pride of Guy Fieri's 10-car collection -- a fever-yellow Lamborghini valued in excess of $200,000.

The San Francisco Chronicle reports that the heist occurred Tuesday morning at a Bentley, Lamborghini, and Lotus dealership where the celebrity chef stores his opulent car collection. The star could not be reached for comment in his Santa Rosa home, but a police officer noted that the thief is not likely to be driving the 2008 Gallardo Superleggera on the streets of San Francisco, no matter how fast the thing can go (190 mph maximum speed) and how handily it could elude a police chase: The thing is simply too obvious. It is speculated that the automobile may be broken down for parts, or surreptitiously shipped overseas for sale.
