An empire wrapped in foil.

Students boycotting the Pace University cafeteria will soon have a more appealing alternative to the food that the DOH declared unfit for human consumption: Luke's Lobster is coming to the neighborhood.

Eater learned from Luke's co-owner Ben Conniff that the new location, on Williams Street, should open in May, in time to take advantage of the warmer weather and the appetites of Wall Street types. They're hoping Community Board 1 will grant them a beer license, which should also prove attractive to those wayward Pace students. For those keeping track, this is the fourth outpost of Luke's, which opened its first wee storefront in the East Village in 2009.
