Restaurants and bars, they come and they go. Here are a few making their debuts and bowing out this week.

Rocco Ancarola has ended his partnership in Greenwich Village gastropub Rabbit in the Moon. The place was quickly sold and renamed the State Room.

The Chelsea location of 'Swich is closing on March 25. Sales are better than ever, but prices have been raised to help staff relocate.

The Eldridge on the Lower East Side is closing. Partner Matt Levine says he plans to open a restaurant in the neighborhood.

Vince & Eddie's has shuttered after 22 years in business, despite Lady Gaga trying to save the restaurant with a cash infusion a few months ago.

The Old Rooster in Williamsburg has been closed for the last couple of weeks. Phones are going unanswered and the Twitter account is dead.

A new Tacos Morelos cart has been seen parked in the East Village and the new truck in Williamsburg is serving up tacos, cemitas, and quesadillas.

Cowgirl Cupcakes has moved into the East Village. In addition to cupcakes, the place is also serving burritos.

Pier 9 has opened in Hell's Kitchen. Chef Eric Hara is turning out seafood dishes, both simply grilled and more complex.

Bierhaus is a new Bavarian-style beer hall in Midtown East, also turning out soft pretzels with bier cheese and strudel for dessert.

Rockography has arrived on the Bowery, turning out wacky menu items like Deep Fried PB&J and a 16-ounce F.U. Burger topped with Velveeta, a fried egg, and maple bacon.

Seasons, owned by the partners in Picket Fence in Ditmas Park, brings more contemporary American to Brooklyn Heights.
