Stephen Colbert Asks, 'Is God Fattening?' Study Says Yes.

A new study reveals that people who regularly attend church or other religious institutions are 50 percent more likely to be obese than non-religious folk. And, if you happened to catch Morley Safer's profile of Archbishop Timothy Dolan on 60 Minutes a couple weeks back, in which he repeatedly referred to the cleric's weight, you can surmise that it's not just the flock that's fat. On The Colbert Report last night, Stephen Colbert considered the burning (roasting, flash-frying, perhaps) question on everyone's lips: "Is God fattening?"
