Stinky Bklyn Is Now Even Stinkier

Categories: Edible News, Marx

Since it opened in 2006, Stinky Bklyn has made Cobble Hill a veritable curd-nerd utopia, and now, the fragrant earthly paradise has expanded its square footage.

Per Diner's Journal, the cheese shop has closed its original store and will reopen tomorrow in a new and greatly expanded space one block away on Smith Street. Expect even more cheeses, a temperature- and humidity-controlled cheese aging room, a ham bar, prepared foods, craft beer on tap, and products from artisanally minded companies like Blue Marble and Hot Bread Kitchen. Basically, a gourmet grocery store.

Stinky's new home, as it happens, was previously occupied by Big Apple Smith, which billed itself as a "gourmet grocery," albeit one that sold Budweiser.
