Bivalves abounded at last year's New Amsterdam Market.
Another day, and yet another seasonal market to look forward to.

The New Amsterdam Market sends word that it will kick off its new season on Sunday, May 1. Vendor information will soon follow, as will fundraising benefits: On Saturday, March 26, Jimmy's No. 43 will host a brisket cook-off, and on Saturday, April 9, there will be an oyster saloon down on South Street, featuring the likes of April Bloomfield, King Phojanakong, Luke's Lobster, and green brown orange's Alejandro Alcocer. More information about both events can be found on the market's website.
