French Wine Bar Vin Sur Vingt Coming to the West Village
A new wine bar is coming to the West Village that promises to be the most authentic French bar à vin the city has yet seen, according to owner Sebastien Auvet's Facebook page.
Vin Sur Vingt is scheduled to open this spring on West 11th Street at Seventh Avenue South. Specializing in French wines, with an extensive rotating menu of by-the-glass options, it will also offer bistro fare. Construction has already begun on the space, where a liquor-license application filed in January is still pending approval.
