Eat like these guys, curbside.
It isn't just fast-food chains that are clued in to the food-truck craze. Corporations like Heinz have jumped on the bandwagon, unleashing food-truck promotions on the streets of New York. Air France is premiering its own mobile vending publicity stunt today, featuring dishes created by Joël Robuchon. And next week, the History Channel will circulate a Taste of the Bayou food truck to help promote the new season of the series Swamp People.

The Air France food truck will be on Broadway between 41st and 42nd streets today, and tomorrow on Fifth Avenue between 49th and 50th streets; it will make its way downtown over the next few days. The History Channel truck will kick off lunch service at Sixth Avenue and 41st Street on Monday, March 28. The menu includes more exotic fare than can be found at most food trucks, including mallard duck and smoked wild boar sausage gumbo, alligator sauce piquante with rice, and Louisiana red beans and rice with smoked nutria sausage.
