Sandra Lee Is Throwing a Giant Bake Sale Tomorrow
Starting at 11:30 tomorrow morning and lasting for several decadent hours, Sandra Lee will be putting her terrifying power to good use by taking over Grand Central Terminal to throw an enormous bake sale for charity.
Billed as the "World's Largest Bake Sale," its goal is to raise $50,000 to benefit the Food Bank for New York City. Emeril Lagasse, Mario Batali, Lidia Bastianich, and Rosanna Scotto will also be hosting the event, which will take place in Vanderbilt Hall. The 30 vendors will include Junior's, Milk & Cookies, Magnolia, and Ciao Bella.
Lee, whom the Daily News reports has donated $25,000 of her own money to the sale, is hoping it will land in the Guinness Book of World Records, further ensuring her own societal ubiquity and our inability to avoid it.
