Oodles of noodles makes for a yummy meal.

It's time for Tuesday Toasts, our weekly feature highlighting the Fork in the Road team's favorite versions of popular dishes and favorite spots in the city for a given activity. They might not be the best or the coolest or the newest, but instead represent the things and places that are near and dear to our hearts. Will the team have wildly diverging opinions or do great minds think alike? There's only one way to find out. Up this week: Our Favorite Ramen.

"Ippudo, the classic." --Chantal Martineau

"I don't eat ramen, but the tororo wakame soba at Cocoron is definitely my favorite noodle dish in town right now!" --Rebecca Marx

"The Akamaru Modern at Ippudo ... but I won't wait more than 45 minutes for it. Otherwise I love the ambiance at Rai Rai Ken, where I get either the miso or shoyu ramen." --Lauren Shockey

"Spicy cabbage and pork ramen at Naruto Ramen." --Victoria Bekiempis

"Spicy miso ramen at Ramen Setagaya." --Robert Sietsema
