Tonight, No. 7 Will Serve India in Taco Form

India: like a taco, only bigger
Given that kati rolls are basically Indian burritos, and that everyone these days seems intent on serving the world's cuisines on a tortilla, it seems only fitting that someone has gone and plopped the flavors of South Asia in a taco.

Even more unsurprising is that these Indian tacos are being brought to life at No. 7, the establishment that brought us Eddie Huang's Chinese New Year and (via No. 7 Sub) a bologna sandwich served with parsnip mole, ricotta, and pickled onions.

Tonight, and tonight only, Tyler Kord will partner with Pervaiz Shallwani, erstwhile Fork in the Road contributor and stomach for hire. The two will serve two kinds of tacos: classic pork vindaloo ($9) and sag paneer ($7).

Because Monday is bar-only night at No. 7, the tacos will be served at the bar, starting at 7 p.m. and lasting until the kitchen runs out.
