Pork's Slogan Still Sucks. But Now They Have a Café!

porkslogan.jpg
The National Pork Board didn't take our suggestions for a new slogan and is sticking with "Pork: Be Inspired." And to show off their new slogan, they're creating the even more awfully awesomely named Pork Inspiration Café. Which will be run by Top Chef: All-Stars winner Richard Blais! Oh, how the mighty have fallen.

On Thursday, April 14, at 470 Park Avenue South (in the space formerly occupied by Guy & Gallard Café), patrons will be able to sample a different porky dish during one of four time slots (10:30-11:30 a.m., 2:30-3:30 p.m., 4:30-5:30 p.m., and 6:30-7:30 p.m.) while Blais runs the front of house. In between food services, Blais's bacon milkshakes will be available in front of the café. No liver ice cream, à la his Top Chef: All-Stars finale dish, though.
