Where Was I Eating? Kin Shop

Fork in the Road readers, you're all so smart. Or at least omnivorous and possessing photographic memories. For this week's Where Am I Eating? I was, indeed, dining at Kin Shop, Harold Dieterle's excellent modern Thai restaurant in the West Village.

The pictured image features the two condiments that grace each table -- one is dry Thai chile flakes and the other thinly sliced chiles in vinegar. Much of the food at Kin Shop is quite spicy, but for those who need a little extra fire in their lives, these garnishes will bring the heat.

Congratulations to Steven Chapman, who correctly guessed the restaurant. Please email me to claim your cookbook. And to everyone else, there's always next week.
