New York's newest massive food hall
After 30 years as a fixture of Boston's financial district, the Milk Street Café is expanding to New York's Financial District with a 23,000-square-foot food hall.

According to Milk Street's reps, the enormous space, located at 40 Wall Street, is tentatively scheduled to open its doors on June 13. When it does, it will more or less give the neighborhood its answer to Eataly: Expect an oatmeal bar, pasta bar, sushi bar, salad bar, "Pacific Rim specialties," a grill and rotisserie, pastries, a café, a multitude of panini, and hot made-to-order breakfasts.

All of which is to say that between this, Luke's Lobster, Nixtamalito, Fatty Snack, SHO, and the roving food-truck army, it's getting much harder to slag off the Financial District's lunchtime options.
