Jon Shook, son of a gun

If you're looking for a way to pass 20 minutes in an agreeable fashion, then consider clicking on over to Fish, R.J. Cutler's short documentary about Jon Shook, one of the chef-owners of Los Angeles' Animal and Son of a Gun restaurants. Yes, Los Angeles. There's no New York connection here (aside from the stint Shook and co-conspirator Vinny Dotolo did in Montauk a couple of summers ago), but there is an awfully entertaining portrait of a chef and his restaurant and his seafood, from the guy who made the excellent The September Issue.
