A scene soon to be replicated in Midtown
Last month, news came down the pike of Ratha Chaupoly's plans to open a second outpost of Num Pang, his terrifically popular Cambodian sandwich shop near Union Square. Chaupoly offered no clues to its location, but now, Eater has done it for him, via a tipster and subsequent PR confirmation. Seems that Num Pang is setting up shop on East 41st Street. The location is right next door to a sports bar, which will no doubt provide the restaurant with an immediate late-night customer base. As for the daytime, we can already hear the drool hitting the keyboards over at Midtown Lunch ...
