If you're seeking a Super Heebster this morning, you're out of luck: Hollywood has shut down Russ & Daughters until noon. This was the scene in front of the store about 30 minutes ago, when a small army of crew members clustered around the actress Greta Gerwig, who was sitting on one of the store's benches, pretending to eat a sandwich. Based on Gerwig's IMDb page, she's filming Lola Versus, a comedy about a woman whose fiancé dumps her weeks before their wedding. Lox, as we can personally attest, is an excellent balm for heartbreak.
