L'Ybane Chef-Owner Al Rineh Opens La Carafe Wine Bar

Nearly a year ago, Al Rineh moved the New York outpost of his Nice restaurant L'Ybane from the East Side to the West Side. Well, the neighborhood -- Hell's Kitchen -- must have been good to him, because this past month he added a wine bar to his repertoire.

La Carafe Restaurant and Wine Bar has a 100-plus-strong wine list and menu of Niçois-influenced bites. Per a press release, expect hot and cold appetizers like spiced chickpea fritters, grilled merguez, and eggplant caviar, as well as pasta, seafood, and mains like cassolette de moules.
