Ludo Lefebvre has been here in New York, eating his way through town while promoting Ludo Bites America, his new show on the Sundance Channel. And it looks like the Los Angeles chef will be back for more.

In an interview with NBC Feast, Lefebvre and his wife, Krissy, talked about their plans to open a New York location of LudoBites, the traveling restaurant they create every few months in L.A. The pair are looking in "Manhattan, Brooklyn, all over," for a space, which "needs to be very simple" and "more like a French bistro-style restaurant," but "not too fancy." Although "it's not a rush," Lefebvre wants to open in November or December, assuming he can find the right space.

The interview, incidentally, took place at Milk Burger Shake Shack, which Lefebvre thought was "good" but not worth waiting an hour in line for. As he told Grub Street, he also ate at the Breslin, Le Bernardin, and Momofuku Noodle Bar during his visit, but really spent most of his time in New Jersey.
