The Red Rooster Will Chase Chicken With Champagne

rrsil.png
The Red Rooster, that mirror of what Harlem offers as a whole, will on Monday offer its customers chicken and champagne.

The pairing is a tribute to Chitlins' & Champagne Tuesdays, the weekly gatherings that took place at the Red Rooster's namesake, the legendary speakeasy that served as a watering hole for the likes of Nat King Cole and James Baldwin. In place of the original's plates of chitterlings and cornbread, the restaurant will serve Paul Goerg champagne, champagne cocktails, and tasting-sized plates of deviled eggs, curried chitlins, and chicken and waffle bites.
