Vin Sur Vingt to Open Tomorrow
Earlier this year, we told you about the forthcoming Vin Sur Vingt, a wine bar in the West Village that promised to be the most authentic French bar à vin in the city. After several delays, the bar is set to open tomorrow.

The menu will include simple food, like quiches, croque monsieurs, cheese, and charcuterie. But the pièce de résistance will be the 50-strong by-the-glass list of wines from France.
"The concept is very simple," says owner Sebastien Auvet via email. "It's a 100% French bar a vin. We are trying to make people [feel like they're] traveling in France by carrying wine from different regions like Jura, Corsica, Sud-Ouest, also the classic regions like Bordeaux, Loire." Bon voyage, indeed.
