At Dunkin' Donuts, 'Extra Sugar' Does Not Mean Extra Sugar

dunkndonbox.png
A Dunkin' Donuts box is always full of surprises.

We thought Dunkin' Donuts was guilty of crimes only against bagels and cholesterol levels, but apparently we were wrong.

Or at least that's the case in New Jersey, where a 29-year-old woman was recently arrested for allegedly soliciting customers for sex during her breaks from selling doughnuts. APP reports that the woman's arrest came following a six-week investigation called "extra sugar" that the police launched after getting a tip that certain people were going to Dunkin' Donuts to fulfill late-night cravings for more than just crullers.

Over the course of their investigation, the police allegedly witnessed the woman, who worked the night shift, spend unusual amounts of time with customers in the parking lot. Doughnuts never changed hands, but money sometimes did. This continued until a cop, posing as a would-be client, arrested the woman, who has since been released. Dunkin' Donuts has declined to offer any comment on the matter, but we imagine that Krispy Kreme has offered a few prayers of thanks.
