Bravo
Like this, but onstage
The Moth, everyone's favorite storytelling series, starts up again on September 13, and the debut has taken a decidedly foodie turn. The event, "Moth Eaten: Adventures in Food," will include tales from none other than David Chang of the Momofuku empire, Gail Simmons of Top Chef, and Adam Gopnik of The New Yorker, all hosted by Padma Lakshmi.

They, along with other, lesser foodies, will recount 10-minute-long stories of, presumably, kitchen life and eating adventures. Presumably Chang will let the F-bomb out and Gopnik will discuss Parisian eats. Hopefully Gail will recount something from her days of being Jeffrey Steingarten's assistant, because we're sure that would make for entertaining listening. But this is all speculative. Check out the event for yourself. It'll be located at the Great Hall at Cooper Union at 7 East 7th Street beginning at 7:30 p.m. (doors open at 6:30). Tickets will go on sale two weeks before the event and will be available for purchase here.
