Following the discovery (and ensuing shame) that Zabar's $16.95-per-pound lobster salad did not contain actual lobster, Saul Zabar announced that the salad would henceforth be called the "seafare salad."

But it turned out that name was already trademarked, so Zabar has returned to the media with an addendum: The salad is now known as the "zabster salad."

The president and owner of the 77-year-old Upper West Side grocery store told The New York Times that the name is "a combination of lobster and Zabar. ... We could have called it Zobster salad, but our name is Zabar's." For the record, "zabster" rhymes with "Napster," and the salad is still made with crawfish, not lobster.
