Paris meets Brooklyn.
It's been about a year since we first heard what would replace the space formerly occupied by L'Epicerie in Fort Greene. The unfortunately named Baguetteaboudit! was going to be where "Paris meets Brooklyn," a deli-slash-café serving soups, salads, and baked goods. But the storefront has remained dark ... until now.

Action was finally spotted at the café this past weekend, when it opened with its brief menu of breakfast and lunch items. Its Facebook page announces that it will offer bagels, quiches, sandwiches, pastries, and ice cream. All with the "sophistication of Paris" ... oooh la la.
