Bottoms up!
While there is no greater craft-beer event this autumn than The Village Voice's own Brooklyn Pour, beer geeks should get pumped for New York City's fourth annual Craft Beer Week, occurring from Friday, September 16, to Sunday, September 25. With almost 100 bars and more than 30 restaurants taking part in the celebration of suds, it's bound to be one drunken week of fun.

The key to the event is a $10 passport, which offers deals and discounts on selections at participating venues. Each venue will feature one specific brewery, and beers will be $3 per glass, rather than $7. Zagat will also be presenting beer pairing menus at more than 40 restaurants and bars. And many other beer-centric events will be occurring around the city, ranging from a launch party for Garrett Oliver's Oxford Companion to Beer at the Brooklyn Brewery, to the Food Experiments National Championship, also at the Brooklyn Brewery, to the kickoff event at Southpaw, the Freaktoberfest Boutique Beer & Music Festival. A full event schedule plus a list of participating breweries can be found on the Craft Beer Week website. Get ready to drink up! (Just not too much.)
