Smoke Joint Team Expands to Clinton Hill
Hot Bird, the converted garage bar and courtyard that feels like it's miles away from the barren Atlantic Avenue corner it sits on, is getting a new neighbor. The team behind Smoke Joint, Peaches, and Peaches HotHouse is setting up shop next door.

Management isn't releasing any details for now -- not even the name of the restaurant. But our source did say the new spot would serve barbecue. We were also told that this was just one of several new locations being opened by the same team, the rest of which are in Bed-Stuy. The biggest beneficiary of the new Clinton Avenue joint is, of course, Hot Bird. Since Alan Harding's food truck left the bar's courtyard, Hot Bird has been grilling mighty fine sausages out back. But a full barbecue menu is sure to be a welcome addition.
