Solber Pupusas Takes Vendys This Year

And the winner is ...

The seventh annual Vendy Awards took over Governors Island this past Saturday.

Solber Pupusas, from Red Hook, took top honors for its Salvadoran stuffed corn patties. Both Eater and DNAinfo were on the front lines and report that other winners included Korilla BBQ for Rookie Vendor of the Year, Souvlaki GR for the People's Taste Award, Wooly's Ice for Best Dessert Truck, and Taco Truck for Best of New Jersey. Congrats to all the victorious!
