The Lobster Place, our go-to for impeccably fresh sushi when we're at the Chelsea Market, is closing its storefront at 252 Bleecker Street.

Ian MacGregor, the company's president, told DNAinfo that high rent and "mismanaged expectations" with the landlord are to blame for the closure. The Lobster Place's Chelsea location will continue to operate, much to the relief of area pescatarians.
