Say Goodbye to Shang, Travertine, Cowgirl's Baking

Susur Lee's Shang, in the Thompson LES hotel, has closed and will be replaced by a Blue Ribbon restaurant.

Crêpe Monster, the Tokyo-style crepe counter at Food Gallery 32, has apparently been shuttered since mid-August.

The upstairs dining room at Travertine has been closed since mid-July. It will reportedly reopen as a "cafeteria style, downtown comfort food" spot.

Kush Lounge, on the Lower East Side, is no more. It looks like Paris export Experimental Cocktail Club will replace it.

Cowgirl's Baking, in the East Village, shuttered in late September after just six months in business. The owners tweeted something about "heading west."

The bad-luck space that most recently housed Vie De France -- recently shortened to just Vie -- will once more be empty.

Chiles & Chocolate, a Oaxacan restaurant in Park Slope that relocated from a few blocks away this summer, could not keep the place filled and was forced to close.
