And the fun has come to an end once again. Those figs on a plate might have been typical San Fran fare, but they were served at Prune, right here in the East Village. Served with a thimble-sized beaker of cream, they were a delightful ending to a recent lunch, proving that not every dish needs to be a big old production for it to be tasty.
