Chris Jaeckle, who helped Ai Fiori land three stars from Sam Sifton, has left the Midtown Mediterranean eatery.

Craig Hopson has put in notice at Le Cirque. Hopson had talked about running his own resto, but has decided to run the Brewster instead.

Alessandro Stratta, a Las Vegas chef who worked under Alain Ducasse at Monte Carlo's Louis XV, will open his first New York restaurant next week. Diner's Journal reports that the fare at Bigoli will be "serious but very simple" Italian food.
