Ryan Skeen 'In' at Pera Soho; Sam Talbot 'Out' at Imperial No. 9

​​Ryan Skeen, formerly of Fish Tag (who's also formerly of Allen & Delancey, Irving Mill, and 5 & Diamond), will head the soon-to-open Pera Soho.

Sam Talbot has given notice at Imperial No. Nine, over long-standing disputes about the restaurant's direction.

Portland's Andy Ricker plans on bringing Pok Pok to Red Hook. The eatery will likely begin with a wings-based menu, but expand into full-service dining.

Mario Batali compared bankers to Hitler and Stalin. Despite Batali's quick-to-follow apology, financiers have threatened to boycott the chef.

Julie Farias, once of the General Greene, will take the helm at the East Village's Goat Town. She plans on offering a new menu by December.

More shuffles at the Mondrian Hotel: Along with Talbot's departure from Imperial, Armin Armiri will no longer run Mister H, the Mondrian's lounge.
