Former Le Cirque pastry chef Iacopo Falai has shuttered his bakery, Falai Panetteria, after closing his flagship restaurant. The move marks an end to Falai's strong Clinton Street presence.

Dark Room, a Ludlow Street basement bar, will soon close and be replaced by another drinkery: Bodegas. The planned watering hole will serve oysters and other raw shellfish.
