The buzz: Wintry cocktails typically have the feel of liquid pumpkin pie -- they often come with heavy dashes of cinnamon, nutmeg, brown sugar, and bitters, giving these drinks an earthy, spicy vibe. The Rock 'n' Rolla contains none of these ingredients, but is still great to sip around Christmas. The gin's juniper gives Velvet's beverage a seasonal, piney fragrance, while the elderflower liqueur and citrus lend the concoction a sweet fruitiness.
