Where Was I Eating? Lao Di Fang

Looks like we have some hand-pulled noodle lovers reading Fork in the Road, and for good reason: You can't beat a big bowl of brothy goodness filled with springy strands. I was eating at Lao Di Fang (28 Forsyth Street, 212-941-7678), the Chinatown noodle joint that was formerly known as Eastern Authentic Noodle and Kuai An and, even as recently as late September, when Our Man Sietsema checked out the joint, Kuai Le. The name might be different, but the big bowls of noodles still taste delicious, and that's really all that should matter, right?

Congratulations to WinstonGFX, who correctly named the spot as Lao Di Fang, and also to Danny, who was the first person to name the location. You both get cookbooks, so please email me with your mailing address to claim your prizes. A big thanks to all who played, and I look forward to seeing you all back again on Monday afternoon for a new round of Where Am I Eating?
