Choice Eats Announces Its First Batch of Restaurants!

We know you've bought your tickets already for Choice Eats, The Village Voice's awesome tasting event (read: gluttony fest), and have been eagerly anticipating the release of the list of restaurants who will be sampling dishes on Tuesday, March 13, at the 69th Armory. Well, kids, the waiting is over. The first batch of restaurants has been released, and, boy, are you in for a treat.
Buka, Chinese Mirch, Court Street Grocers, Dean Street, Edi and the Wolf, Fatty 'Cue, Gregory's 26 Corner Taverna, Kafana, Kelso Restaurant, La Morada, Nom Wah Tea Parlor, Northeast Kingdom, Ovelia Psistaria Bar, Singh's Roti Shop, Sparrow Tavern, Spicy Bampa, Tanoreen, Tenpenny, Testaccio, the Meatball Shop, and This Little Piggy Had Roast Beef have all signed on for this year's event. And that's just the beginning!
If for some unknown reason you haven't purchased a ticket for the event yet, this should be good inspiration to get clicking. Tickets can be purchased here, and all the important details about Choice Eats can be found here. Alas, VIP tickets have already sold out, but general admission tix are still up for grabs. But probably not for long.
