The Distinguished Wakamba Cocktail Lounge has a few distinctions that don't really relate to its drinks.
In 2000, for example, an undercover cop murdered a drug dealer after an attempted buy, which was going to take place at Wakamba.
Said to be a favorite of runaways, the bar -- which has a charming Scarface-meets-spring break vibe -- is also a favorite of Hell's Kitchen bargain drinkers because of its specials.
From noon until 5 p.m., Wakamba serves up $3 domestic beers, $4 imports, and $5 wells.
