Updated: Tickets Go on Sale for the Fifth Annual Choice Eats, VIP Tix Sold Out

Today is the day tickets finally go on sale for Choice Eats, The Village Voice's pioneering and relatively cheap food festival, now in its fifth year. The date is Tuesday, March 13, and the tried-and-true venue is the 69th Regiment Armory on Lexington Avenue and 26th Street.
We've carefully selected the restaurant participants to represent dozens of cuisines, and there will be celebrity chefs and hipster dives in the house, too.
We've pretty much held the line on prices so that the all-you-can-eat, all-you-can-drink pig-out is $50. There are also $80 VIP tickets, which guarantee early entrance and admission to a special lounge with an extra series of attractions.
