Where Was I Eating? Frankies 570

This round was too easy for you guys: You guessed right almost immediately. I was eating at Frankies 570 in the West Village. The meatballs there are a delight -- firm, with raisins and pine nuts added in for a touch of sweetness. These balls are baked not fried, which I know for sure because I have the hilarious, excellent cookbook The Frankies Spuntino Kitchen Companion & Cooking Manual.

Speaking of cookbooks, Frank C is getting one, just as long as the C is not short for Castronovo, and he is not, in fact, the chef of the restaurant. That would be pretty funny, but, buddy, based on how good those meatballs are, you definitely do not need a new cookbook.

That's all for now. Catch me next week for Where Am I Eating?
