Chicken Pan Fried Noodles from Happy Garden (29-24 30th Avenue, Astoria, 718-274-1195)

For an $8.25 order of what tastes like moo goo gai pan on a bed of crackly noodles, this is actually pretty good.

The chicken slices were moist and soft, the vegetables prepped to an enjoyable crispness. And the white garlic sauce didn't feel too gooey or starchy. This might even be better than the seafood version of the pick offered at Weng's Palace.
