1. Big Tray Chicken at He Nan Taste -- This is the chicken I dream about, the chicken I return to eat again and again. I bring friends here when they arrive in town to eat this wok-ful of irregular bony bird parts swimming in so much chili oil you could light lamps with it across the city. And after the initial burn, the Sichuan peppercorns kick in, in this specialty of the province of Henan, not to be confused with Hunan. Oh, and there are some random potatoes floating around in there, too. Give me mah chicken!

Inca Chicken es BOMB!!!! I buy from there at least once a week, and I have never been disappointed. Always juicy and flavorful throughout, and I love how they take it out freshly from the roaster and chop it up right in front of you! Green sauce is to die for!

I also tried John Brown, and I love the smokey taste!

Tried Inca last week. Was a bit above your average place but NOTHING and I mean absolutely NOTHING beats John Brown's chicken. Forget a fork and knife. Just pick the damn thing up and your hands!

Inca may have made the top ten for taste, but beware of the sanitary conditions. Three people walked out last week (including me) when the counter man proceeded to cut up the chicken on the dirty marble counter slab. It was littered with chicken (and who knows what else) debris from previous encounters. Disgusting and gross, really!

what's funny is we make fun of Inca being so ghetto but the Flavor & the way they cook it on an open flame is unbeatable! Honestly, when I went to vacation in the Philippines they champion their "Lechon Manok" (rotisserie basically) & not a single one even comes close to INCA :) I've been spoiled all this time & never knew! A true GEM in Bushwick, BROOKLYN!
