OK, fine. Here's the real picture.
Shrimp in a Garlic Sauce from P.F. Chang's "Home Menu"
P.F. Chang's is perfect for suburban newlyweds who have just seen a rom-com at their favorite mall's movie theater: the type of place that's exactly pricey and "exotic" enough to make a daytime outing seem special.
The food isn't horrible, but hardly reinvents Chinese-American cuisine. On the scale of chain quality, P.F. Chang's feels more analogous to Macaroni Grill or Carrabba's than Olive Garden -- meh, but not shitty.
Now, P.F. Chang's apparently sells frozen versions of some selections.
The most positive thing that can be said? The flavor feels perfectly palatable -- the pack features a fresh-tasting veggie medley and mild crustaceans in a mild, sweet garlic sauce.
The most honest thing that can be said? Stoned or sober, Towelie would probably prefer Taco Bell.
