First Lady Michelle Obama is teaming up with Epicurious and the U.S. Department of Education for a recipe contest. Winners will receive a trip to Washington, D.C., and have the chance to attend a kids' "State Dinner" hosted by the White House, where some of the winning recipes will be served.

The dinner will be attended by one child/parent team selected from each of the 50 states, plus D.C., Puerto Rico, and the U.S. territories.

The criteria: "Each of the food groups should be represented in your recipe: fruit, vegetables, whole grains, protein, and dairy. You can either combine them into one recipe, or include some of them in the recipe and suggest others as accompaniments to form an entire lunch meal."

The contest ends on June 17 at 11:59 p.m. Winners will be notified on July 16. To enter, visit recipechallenge.epicurious.com and submit the online entry form online.
