Rooftop Grill La Piscine Now Open to the Public

Situated on top of the classy Hotel Americano in industrial Chelsea, La Piscine is a rooftop bar and grill concept that is now available to the public. Fittingly named "the swimming pool," the space has a four-foot deep pool nestled in a surrounding lounge area.
It's the rooftop's first opening for warm weather since the hotel opened last September. The view is spectacular--you get the Hudson River on one side and the Empire State building on another.

Food is Mediterranean inspired. Think warm pita slices dipped in a creamy baba ghanouj and thick lamb burger sliders oozing with cheese and caramelized onions. The bar, parallel to the grill, whips up a mean blood-red hibiscus margarita.

Pool
9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (hotel guests only)
6 p.m. (for patrons and hotel guests)
Grill
Lunch:
Friday/Saturday/Sunday: Noon to 5 p.m.
Dinner:
Monday/Thursday/Sunday: 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Friday/Saturday: 6 p.m. to midnight
