Queens-based food writer Joe DiStefano will guide a tour of Jackson Heights this weekend--not of the neighborhood's Indian joints, as you might have expected, but of its more recent wave of Tibetan and Nepalese fare. The three-hour tour ($80) starts at 11 a.m. this Sunday, June 24, and will include stops for traditional tsampa, Tibetan-Sichuan fusion, and Tibetan-style tripe, among other deliciousness. [ICE]
